shopping

Postby LisaLQ on Fri Jun 27, 2008 7:25 pm

On another pet forum I use, they have a thread for people to post links to items they think might be interesting to other pet owners. It's generally Ebay items - but I figured we could make it more general.

Here's mine for today:
Martingale combined collar/leads

They're overseas, but very cheap, I've not ordered one yet so I'm not recommending them as I've no personal experience - just thought folks might be interested :D

I'm ordering one come payday though (along with a few other treats for Sky!)

Moved and stickied.

Anyone got any items they've seen they want to share? An Ebay seller they like?

I bought Callie's jammies from a lady on ebay too. Great quality and you could choose the material. Callie got brightly striped jammies. The only photo i have is her looking totally uninpressed about wearing them!!
If i can dig out the photo, I'll post it.

Blu's fat enough to keep himself warm, he needs more of a push up bra kind of thing for his big man boob...

Kitsch collars made Sky's coat for me :)

Was a while ago now, but the service was excellent. They're a lovely bunch!

Well, when i say PJ's... they're really just a fleece coat with a leg hole for the front 2 legs to keep it in place and a snood-type neck to keep her neck warm. No long legs and buttons!!!!!
Looks like an outdoor fleece really.

If Blu weren't so fat, he'd have a jumper...

I do have a recommendation - I bought a collar for Blu off a lady on "The Refuge" forums, her username is elricc and I'm chuffed to bits with it. It's a fabric martingale but very strong, and even at dane size (25" roughly) with brass fittings, only cost us £10 (including postage) and it was made and posted out very quickly.

It's beautiful too - shall get pics later...

I have seen full legged ones online, they look cosy, but I couldnt imagine trying to get them on, yours sound more sensible
Mind you, my house is too hot for pj's.. :-D
